Location

Choose the area of England for your Summer Programme:

South West: based in and around the ancient port city of Plymouth on the Devon coast, with its rich maritime history: home to the British Navy; the birthplace of Scott of the Antarctic and Sir Francis Drake famous for masterminding the defeat of the Spanish Armada and as the first man to circumnavigate the world. Plymouth was also the port from which Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the New World on the Mayflower to help found the USA.

Devon, one of the counties in the South West of England

South East: based in and around the English Channel port town of Folkestone in Kent, the county famous for growing fruits, which earned it the title ‘Garden of England’. Located on the edge of the North Downs, just 45 minutes from London and 30 minutes from Canterbury, Folkestone has a vibrant cafe culture centred on its harbour and historic centre, a growing creative business quarter and a thriving cultural heart including its art triennial.

Surrey is one of the most eastern of the southern counties of England
